Setting the Table for New Year's Eve

Around this time of the year days seems to just come and go. Maybe it's because we're watching the calendar more closely, or maybe it's because the holidays are that much more fun. One thing is for sure, if you don't pay close attention, the holidays will be gone before you even have a chance to realize it! This is just one reason why we like to make any occasion a memorable one. With New Year's Eve on the horizon, we're making sure our table is set and ready to say goodbye to 2013 and bienvenu to 2014. As we want to rein in the new year with as much class as possible, we've made sure to incorporate our most elegant dishes and glassware we have. And to us, nothing says elegance like clean whites and crisp golds! We've added just an accent of natural elements and wood decor just to make sure the table feels as warm and inviting as possible. With a fancy meal ahead of us, we're more excited than ever to begin a new year with a clean slate full of possibilities! Bon appetit!

On the Table: Winter Wonderland

Even though it may not snow in Savannah, we still enjoy the beauty of a winter wonderland! Utilizing our favorite vintage dishes, we've created a tabletop color story of white, gold, soft grey and blue. Adding to the holiday spirit, our snow covered Christmas trees intermixed with our serving dishes creates a delightfully picturesque vignette of a frosty wintertime landscape. Accented with our Mercury glass ornaments, you can almost feel the crisp mountain air of the Swiss Alps as you dine with all of your friends and family. It may look like a chilly meal, but with the warmth of loved ones at your side you've got nothing to worry about! Bon appetit!

Setting the Table: White and Gold Tea Party

When it comes to decorating the house for the holidays, lining the dining table for a festive feast is right up there with decorating the Christmas tree! Mixing subtle tones of white, gold, silver and alabaster, we've set the table for an elegant evening filled with cups of hot tea and plate after plate of delicious holiday fare. Running the length of the table and unifying the centerpiece, we've placed a garland of white cotton that not only adds an element of nature but helps offset the metallic dishes and flatware as well. Utilizing our holiday wreath placemats and snowflake ornaments, we've turned each table setting into a meal filled with Christmas joy. And, just in case anyone at the table happens to look up, we've taken it upon ourselves to add some holiday cheer and decorate the chandelier above with some of our favorite Christmas ornaments! Each day that passes we get more and more excited for Christmas, especially when it comes to dining with friends and family. Thankfully, we've already set the table for the delicious meals ahead! Bon appetit!

A Table for a Feast

Where does the time go? We cannot fathom that Thanksgiving is already next week! Believe me, we're absolutely excited to enjoy the feast that lies ahead, but we're still getting used to the idea that Halloween is already over! Good thing we've kept our eye on the calendar because we've set the table just in time for our favorite meal of the year. Lined with neutral toned linens, our Thanksgiving table combines elements of nature with accents of gold. Pheasant feathers, desert bells and gold rimmed tea cups unify the tablescape, keeping the eye moving down the length of the table revealing more of our subtle but equally as beautiful dishes. Located as soon as one enters the door, our mouths begin to water with anticipation every time we enter the store and gaze upon the table prepared for next week's grand feast. We take reassurance knowing that next Thursday will surely be here before we know it. Bon appetit!
