A Few of Our Favorite Things: Isaac

It's been far too long since we've gotten to share a few of our favorite things with you & there are definitely a few new members of The Paris Market family who are eager to do so! Today we are so excited to officially welcome Isaac to The Paris Market team as one of our awesome coffee bar baristas. Originally from Illinois, Isaac recently moved to Savannah to pursue film & music. When he's not behind the coffee bar perfecting his latte art, you can find him writing for online blogs, including Savannah's own music blog, Hissing Lawns, & working on his own artistic pursuits, whether that be working on films or writing & recording music. The ginger of the family, Isaac always makes work more fun with his witty banter & film trivia. A Few of Our Favorite Things: Liz

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome Liz to the Paris Market team as one of our amazing coffee bar baristas! Originally from Boston, Liz came to Savannah to study fibers & textiles at SCAD & will graduate in the spring of 2015. When she's not busy making delicious coffee drinks for our regulars here at the Paris Market Café, she likes to spend her time making illustrative works & patterns, & she keeps herself sane by running & doing yoga. Queen of collecting, her house is filled with knick knacks, baubles, & objects of all sorts (for inspiration, drawing references, & of course inspiration). She also makes some killer roast veggies. A Few of Our Favorite Things: Kelia

We would like to welcome Kelia to the Paris Market team as one of our awesome coffee bar baristas! Originally from Colorado, Kelia relocated to Savannah to study photography at SCAD. When she's not busy behind the coffee bar practicing her latte art or out & about in Savannah shooting her fashion photography, she likes to paint, write poetry, flirt with boys, do laundry, cook vegetarian food, drink coffee & fall in love. Kelia always finds a way to make work more fun & she's sure to bring a smile to your face while serving you your favorite beverage or treat. We are so excited to welcome Mackenzie to the Paris Market team! Originally from California, Mackenzie moved to Savannah to pursue her degree in fibers at SCAD! When she's not busy working at the store, you're sure to find Mackenzie working with her hands, whether that be crocheting or embroidering a fibers piece or doodling just for fun. She also loves to cook & bake, and even more so, loves to share her tasty creations with others, so naturally she fits right in around here. Mackenzie's warm personality & fun-loving attitude make her a joy to be around & we couldn't be more excited to have her as a part of the team! We would like to welcome Margot to the Paris Market team! Originally from New Jersey, Margot transplanted to Savannah to pursue her love of Production Design at SCAD. When she's not busy attending class or working at the store, Margot enjoys riding bikes through the cobble-stoned streets of Savannah, lounging on the beach on Tybee Island and reading as many non-fiction books as she can. Her fun-loving spirit and enthusiasm make Margot a joy to work with and we're excited to have her on the team! Introducing....Shannon! A recent graduate from SCAD, Shannon earned her Bachelors degree in Writing, with a minor in Art History. Before attending the Savannah College of Art and Design Shannon garnered her first degree in Aviation Maintenance. Nowadays, she likes to spend her days reading, writing, thrifting and eating lots of guacamole. Shannon always finds a way to make work more fun and we couldn't be more excited to have her on board! A Few of our Favorite Things: Meagan

We would like to welcome Meagan to the Paris Market team! A native of Boulder, Colorado, Meagan made the move to the Hostess City of the South to study at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she graduated in 2012 with a B.F.A. in Fibers. Though Meagan is fond of many disciplines within Fibers her greatest passion lies in weaving and embroidery. Fueled by her childhood memories of adventure, Meagan states, "I make objects that are a platform for experience. I make objects that encourage adventure or initiate a memory. With an innate knowledge of a material’s potential to create sentiment or memory, I craft home embellishments that spark the potential for experience. The intimate pairing of materials and process remains central to my work, this pairing ends with refinement in the details of an object and its purpose." When she's not busy at The Paris Market or making beautiful work in her studio, Meagan enjoys spending her time outdoors. Her delightful personality and positive attitude make Meagan a joy to work with and we're so excited to have her on board! A Few of our Favorite Things : Veronica

We would like to welcome Veronica to the Paris Market team! Although Veronica has been with us for several months now, we still want to extend the warmest Paris Market welcome we can to let her know how happy we are to have her on board! When she's not busy working at the store, or attending class, you can find Veronica making wonderfully unique and beautiful work in her studio. Currently pursuing an M.F.A in painting at SCAD, Veronica incorporates elements of nature into her paintings and sculptures, which immediately caught our attention the moment we saw her work in person. Veronica always manages to make work more fun and her great attitude continues to inspire us all. A Few of our Favorite Things


We would like to welcome Cole to The Paris Market team! A native of Savannah, Cole grew up exploring all parts of this beautiful town, inspiring him to eventually pick up a camera. According to Cole, the camera has always been a part of his life. From family portraits to road trips across the United States, photography was always there to document the events of his life in helping him to see its true value and purpose. A recent Savannah College of Art and Design graduate with a B.F.A in photography and a minor in graphic design, he realizes although his college career is over, learning never stops. Everyday is a chance to get better and create something new. One of the most genuine people you will ever meet, Cole brings his infectious smile to work everyday and always makes the workplace a fun atmosphere. We would like to welcome our newest team member, Collin! A recent graduate from Warren Wilson College in Asheville, North Carolina, Collin earned his degree in Creative Writing with focus in Woodworking. Shortly after finishing his studies, Collin decided to move to Savannah, bringing his immense talent with him. When he's not working at the store, you can find Collin hard at work building instruments, making jewelry, creating children's toys, designing light fixtures or updating his blog and etsy. We couldn't be more excited to have Collin as part of The Paris Market team and for him to share all his talent with us. We've been eager for Michelle to share her Paris Market favorites for quite a while and finally the day has come! An incredibly talented artist, Michelle is currently pursuing a degree in Photography at SCAD. We know great things lie ahead for Michelle and we're so grateful to have her as part of The Paris Market team. Bringing a smile and positive energy everyday to work, Michelle is a joy to work with and we love learning what store favorites continue to inspire her! A Few of our Favorite Things: Aeriel


Earning a degree in interior design, Aeriel recently graduated from SCAD. With the knowledge gained from her education, she has brought her talent and positive attitude to the team. A native of Savannah, Aeriel grew up shopping at The Paris Market, which makes her working at the store all the more special. On an average day you can find her splitting her time between working at the store and updating Copperseal, her lovely Etsy shop that hosts a variety of vintage and handmade goods. Aeriel brings a smile to work every day, and we couldn’t be happier to have her as a member of the Paris Market family! Here are a few of her favorites:
