On the Table: Holiday Cloches

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, we've been spending a lot of time thinking about how we're going to dress our table this year. And we think we've finally got it figured out with these cloches full of wintry vignettes! What we love about this particular idea is that it's not too overtly Christmasy that it won't work for a Thanksgiving table, & yet it's just Christmasy enough to work as a table dressing throughout the rest of the holiday season. À table tout le monde! We think it's about that time for a fall feast & with our latest table setting it's sure to be a good one. This particular table scape is set up around a beautiful centerpiece of our dried botanicals, which create a nice pop of color in the middle of the table. From there, we've mixed elements of rustic (like our olive wood plates & burlap placemats) & elegant (like our floral china & gold rimmed glassware) to create a truly delightful juxtaposition for our place settings. A Table Tout Le Monde: Backyard Picnic

We can hardly believe that August is already half-way over, but here at the Paris Market we're not ready to say goodbye to summer just yet. We're going to spend time outdoors basking in the warm, late afternoon sun for as long as we can & what better way to do that than setting a table in your backyard or on your back patio & sharing a meal with friends. With this table setting, featuring ceramic bisqueware, handwoven napkins, & handmade wooden napkin holders, you really can't go wrong. And, even better, all the little pops of color help to set the mood for a lovely summer evening. So ring the dinner bell & call everyone to the table because it's time to eat!  

On the Table: The Outdoor Feast

Summer is the time of year when we like to take advantage of the outdoors as much as possible. Exploring the marshlands that surround Savannah is always an exciting prospect, though somewhat of an unrealistic venture to attempt on a regular basis. Dining outdoors however, is something we can do everyday! The summers may get hot here in Savannah, but that won't stop us from enjoying a delicious meal in the beautiful southern landscape. As moments like these continue to inspire us, it makes displaying our tables at the store for such an occasion all the more fun! And we've been having a blast with our latest tablescape! Creating more of an intimate setting, we've incorporated a few of our favorite earthy items for an all-natural atmosphere filled with pinecones, sage bundles and plenty of dried flowers! On the Table: Fromage Feast

This past weekend marked the official start of summer so we decided we would kick it off with a table set for cheese lovers like us! On hot summer days, a refreshing light meal is ideal. Overeating and overheating is a dangerous combination, and we've found a delicious and simple cheese course is easily one of the best options out there. Incorporating a mix of our favorite olive wood and teak tableware with several pieces of vintage china makes this French fromage feast an inviting setting for enjoying a light cheese course, even in the heat of the summer season. On the Table: Early Summer Gathering

It's hard not to love summer. Everything seems to slow down this time of year, which is a refreshing break from the typical chaos leading up to the summer. It's also the time of year when it's much easier to find time to visit with friends and family. Sitting down for an evening meal outdoors is just about as good as life can get and we plan on doing plenty of it this summer! With our latest tablescape, we've incorporated our favorite summertime linens and cloths for a light summer feast. Vintage gold-rimmed plates, enamelware mugs and colorful French flatware make this table the perfect setting to gather around, catch up with old friends and make new summer memories in the south.
