Currently Inspired: Shells and the Sea
Living on the coast it's no surprise that the ocean is a major source of inspiration for us. Whenever life begins to feel overwhelming, a trip to the sea always manages to remedy us with its placid disposition. Fortunately for us aquatic lovers, our shelves have filled up with all kinds of summery shells and intriguing sea creatures that have just washed ashore. Behind the Glass: Ernest Hemingway & the Caribbean
Inspired by one of the most influential American writers of all time, our current window display pays great homage to the legendary Ernest Hemingway.
From his earliest years of childhood Ernest possessed a deep fondness for the great outdoors. Seeking adventure anywhere he could, Hemingway traveled the world in search for inspiration that he would later use as a foundation for the many stories that filled his prize winning novels. With an immense love of fishing and hunting, Hemingway spent as much time outdoors as he did behind a desk. In his later years, Hemingway relocated to a home in Key West like no other. With a boat that allowed him to sail the caribbean, Ernest spent a great deal of time enjoying life on the sea. Filling his home with volumes of books, taxidermy from hunting trips and an enviable well-stocked bar, has inspired the majority of our window display. The intensity in which Ernest lived his life to the fullest not only inspired our windows but all of us at The Paris Market as well. Whether it be camping under the stars, a fishing trip, a wild game hunt, or simply relaxing with a cocktail, we're ready to enjoy a bit of adventure this summer!
Stop by soon and see our beautiful windows up close!
