On the Table: Fall Feast

À table tout le monde! We think it's about that time for a fall feast & with our latest table setting it's sure to be a good one. This particular table scape is set up around a beautiful centerpiece of our dried botanicals, which create a nice pop of color in the middle of the table. From there, we've mixed elements of rustic (like our olive wood plates & burlap placemats) & elegant (like our floral china & gold rimmed glassware) to create a truly delightful juxtaposition for our place settings. Cozy Corners: Rustic Living Room Vignette

Last week at the Paris Market we completed a huge store-wide reorganization & with that has come a lot of great new spaces down in our basement. This rustic living room vignette is definitely one of our new favorites! We're all about the nitty gritty details & this space is full of them. From the vintage books to the natural curiosities to the hanging votives, there is always something new to catch your eye. And, of course, it's hard to miss the centerpiece of the space: the beautiful, taupe, Paris style sofa. If you can resist the pull to curl up & take a nice, long nap, then you certainly have more willpower than we do! On the Table: Flora and Fauna

We've been all about the nature theme lately. Maybe the sudden growth of flora and fauna from our spring showers has inspired us or maybe we're becoming more outdoorsy the older we get. Either way, if there's a new way of incorporating nature into our lives, we'll make it happen! With our latest table display we wanted to create a more rustic atmosphere than usual. Incorporating dried leaves and olive wood utensils was our main focus. However, we didn't want the table to feel too earthy so we included a few of our simple glass tumblers and silver flatware to balance it out. Forgoing a traditional placemat, we instead chose to use our vintage leather bound books to set each place setting as not only a way to unify the table, but also as a way to add an old world charm to the delicious and outdoorsy evening ahead.
