On the Table : The Change of Seasons
With signs of spring beginning to emerge from the brisk depths of winter, we can't help but feel excited for the warmer days ahead. Even though birds are chirping once again and buds are sprouting on branches, spring is still a little ways away. To mark the changing of seasons, we've set the table for a feast that says goodbye to late winter and hello to early spring! Filled with natural wreaths and Santa Rosa candles, our new table symbolizes the returning of birds to their nests and warmth of spring to come. To reflect some of winter's starker qualities, we've kept the place settings light and simple, like the season's leafless trees. With the warmth of friends and family gathered around the table, spring is sure to be here before we know it!

A Naturally Curious Collection
When it comes to natural curiosities, even in the dead of winter we can find beauty in almost anything. The the turn of seasons stripping nature bare by it cold temperatures and lack of sunlight adds a stark beauty that always appeals to us. When you start collecting natural curiosities in mid-winter you begin noticing a pattern. Nests left by birds as they begin their journey south, wood petrified from the passage of time, shells outgrown for larger homes and leaves that have turned and fallen to the ground. At first, such occurrences and discoveries can appear melancholic, however when you realize nature is simply at work, continuing on as it should, the beauty of cycles and times of transition becomes overwhelmingly apparent. And our current collection of curiosities only reinstates the wonderment and beauty of the natural world that surrounds us. Stop by soon and see the rest of our natural curiosities!

The Flavors of the Season
Yes, Oktoberfest may have already come and gone, but that's ok because we're still enjoying the flavors of the season! October is a great month for trying new beverages, especially if you're a fan of beer. With so many breweries crafting new recipes of Pumpkin Ales and Oktoberfest style beers it's hard not to get sucked into the trend. As the days continue to get cooler and the leaves continue to fall, we can't think of a better time to bust out our beer steins to warm up and celebrate the wonderful autumnal season.
