Currently Inspired: The Color Blue
Although it's Monday, that's not why we're feeling blue. Here at The Paris Market, we love the color blue for its soothing, harmonious effect. Whether we're burning one of our Aquiesse Shoreline soy candles or drinking a nice, warm cup of coffee in one of our blue bisqueware mugs, we can't help but feel calm when blue is in sight. Using our vintage books or linen napkins in shades of blue make great, contrasting pops of color in a room that is otherwise decorated in warmer colors. Be sure to stop by the store soon so you can start feeling blue for all the right reasons.

On the Table: Winter Wonderland
Even though it may not snow in Savannah, we still enjoy the beauty of a winter wonderland! Utilizing our favorite vintage dishes, we've created a tabletop color story of white, gold, soft grey and blue. Adding to the holiday spirit, our snow covered Christmas trees intermixed with our serving dishes creates a delightfully picturesque vignette of a frosty wintertime landscape. Accented with our Mercury glass ornaments, you can almost feel the crisp mountain air of the Swiss Alps as you dine with all of your friends and family. It may look like a chilly meal, but with the warmth of loved ones at your side you've got nothing to worry about! Bon appetit!

Color Story { black }
Halloween is undoubtedly inspiring a lot of our decision making around the store lately and with our orange-inspired collection last week, it only seemed appropriate to showcase Halloween's other staple color, black. Besides, who doesn't love the color black? Attempting to display all of our favorite products would be an impossible task, however there are a few items that we continue to return to as Paris Market classics. From Kaweco pencils to Laguiole cheese utensils, baker's twine to forged iron nutcrackers, these products may not all be Halloween themed, but they are nonetheless some of Paris Market's best.

Color Story { orange }
With autumn slowly making it's way into full effect we can't help but notice the change in colors. Not only are colors in nature appearing more autumnal, but the hues found in people's clothes and the tints and tones found in the products in our store all seem to be blending into a mix of muted earth tones. This time of year one color that seems unavoidable is none other than the color orange. It's in the leaves falling off the trees, in the pumpkins lying in the patch and in all the decorations adorning the houses for the one and only upcoming Halloween celebration. All of which have undoubtedly grabbed our attention and inspired today's color story collection. Happy Fall!
