For the Table: Handmade Napkin Rings
When we begin setting our table, whether it be for a simple meal for two or an entire spread for all of our friends and family, we like to be able to bring something that makes the table truly unique. In many cases, napkin rings can seem like an over embellishment and the last thing we want is to make a meal feel too formal and alienate our guests. However, when done right, napkin rings can really add that extra nuance to the table, bringing a subtle accent to the rest of the decor. Such is the case with our latest collection of wooden napkin rings, handmade by Collin Garrity. A beautiful assortment of exotic woods, each napkin ring matches its quality with beauty and undoubtedly brings life to each place setting at the table. Perfect for small or large gatherings, formal and informal, and unquestionably a beautiful accent to your table, these handmade napkin rings are an absolute must have this spring!

Wish List: Shield Cutting Boards
One of the greatest perks of working in a place like the Paris Market is you get to start making your holiday wish lists early, and if you're anything like us, your wish list includes a little something for every room in the house. When it comes to the kitchen, cutting boards are just one of those accessories we can't seem to get enough of. Carved out of the finest White Oak and Walnut wood, these boards are sturdy yet lightweight, making transporting and cleaning a breeze, and being smaller in size you don't have to worry about taking up too much room on your countertop. Great for a multitude of uses, whether you're serving up a sampling of cheeses, or preparing a feast for the family, these Oak and Walnut cutting boards are bound to be your kitchen's new best friend! And don't forget about your fellow Chef friends, these boards are the perfect gift for anyone who loves to cook!

From driftwood to petrified, reclaimed to new, we are obsessed with different types of wood. With such a versatile material it's hard not to find something to love! Our collection above only shows a fraction of what one can use wood for. We've selected pieces that we felt were beautiful, either naturally on their own or by what they've become. The colors and textures found within wood always make for such a calming mood within the house or shop and as always, bringing natural outdoor elements inside enhances any atmosphere. Whether it's kitchen utensils, children's toys or purely decorative elements, we can't help but constantly be inspired by the beauty and practicality of wooden objects.

The 100 Year Old Savannah Crate
It's no surprise that we love reclaimed wood. The ability to create new life out of something that had once been discarded is as satisfying as it is beautiful. On a recent find, our woodworker, Collin, discovered numerous scraps of oak and cedar that are at the very least 100 years old. Debating what to create out of these beautifully aged cuts of wood, it occurred to us the need for simple crates to house some of our smaller scale products. With all the pieces lined up, the production began, and Collin has been busy since, crafting each crate with care and precision. Soon to be available at The Paris Market, these hand crafted crates of reclaimed oak and cedar are an excellent solution for lightweight storage throughout the household. Limited by resources, our newly fashioned oak and cedar crates remain in small quantities, however, each crate is a piece of Savannah's history, crafted with the hands of someone who appreciates it.

A Few of Our Favorite Things
We would like to welcome our newest team member, Collin! A recent graduate from Warren Wilson College in Asheville, North Carolina, Collin earned his degree in Creative Writing with focus in Woodworking. Shortly after finishing his studies, Collin decided to move to Savannah, bringing his immense talent with him. When he's not working at the store, you can find Collin hard at work building instruments, making jewelry, creating children's toys, designing light fixtures or updating his blog and etsy. We couldn't be more excited to have Collin as part of The Paris Market team and for him to share all his talent with us. Check out what keeps Collin inspired and stop by the store to see some of his beautiful woodworking, including our favorite line of children's tops!
