Weekend Inspiration: Vintage Silver

It's Friday! As usual, we're looking for some weekend inspiration to keep us busy for the next couple of days. Knowing us, it should come as no surprise that we're immediately drawn to one of our vintage collections. Although we don't consider ourselves the fancy type per se, our assortment of vintage silver is making us want to host a dinner party like no other! Napkin rings, tea strainers, flasks and flatware as far as the eye can see, it's clear that we are in vintage silver heaven! And this weekend, we're going to put it to some good use! On the Table: Easter Sunday

If there's one thing we can't live without, enjoying a delicious meal around the table with our friends and family could easily be number one on our list. Every year for Easter we like to invite our closest friends over for an old fashioned home cooked meal and with the holiday now less than two weeks away, our excitement to play host is through the roof. In honor of our annual brunch we thought it was perfect timing to set the table for an Easter Sunday gathering. This year we wanted to make our table a relaxing environment where everyone feels comfortable. For our tablesetting we've incorporated our favorite white and gold dishware and vintage silver for a classic, simple and most importantly beautiful setting. Choosing to seat everyone at a round table intentionally keeps the focus on what matters most, making memories with the friends and family in our lives and the ability to share new experiences with one another. Setting the Table: White and Gold Tea Party

When it comes to decorating the house for the holidays, lining the dining table for a festive feast is right up there with decorating the Christmas tree! Mixing subtle tones of white, gold, silver and alabaster, we've set the table for an elegant evening filled with cups of hot tea and plate after plate of delicious holiday fare. Running the length of the table and unifying the centerpiece, we've placed a garland of white cotton that not only adds an element of nature but helps offset the metallic dishes and flatware as well. Utilizing our holiday wreath placemats and snowflake ornaments, we've turned each table setting into a meal filled with Christmas joy. And, just in case anyone at the table happens to look up, we've taken it upon ourselves to add some holiday cheer and decorate the chandelier above with some of our favorite Christmas ornaments! Each day that passes we get more and more excited for Christmas, especially when it comes to dining with friends and family. Thankfully, we've already set the table for the delicious meals ahead!
