A Table Tout Le Monde: The Provençal Life
It's finally that point in the year that we look forward to for months and months. It's that special period of time in the spring season when dining Al Fresco becomes a regular event for us. There's a narrow window of time in Savannah, just before the summer, when the weather is truly idyllic. The sun is warm, but a gentle breeze keeps you from overheating. Soon Summer will be here and unless you enjoy a side of sweat with your main course, eating outside in the intense southern heat is out of the question. Lately, we've been really hungering to lead more of the Provençal lifestyle. Home cooked meals with ingredients fresh from the market and a table full of friends, family and good wine is what we love most. And today we're ready for it! Incorporating our favorite olive wood utensils and seagrass vessels and pitchers into our latest tablescape, we're excited to take this feast outdoors! Bon Appetit!

Summertime Activities: The Farmer's Market
When it comes to summer activities, a trip to the beach is admittedly in the forefront of our mind. However, we never want to become creatures of habit, so every now and then it's good to shake things up and try something new. When we're not busy soaking up sun rays by the shore, you can most likely find us strolling through our local farmer's market. We love relaxing by the sea, but when we want some inspiration to get us moving again, the farmer's market is our favorite destination. There's nothing more inspiring than seeing a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, meats and cheeses, flowers and loafs of bread lining the stalls of our park's sidewalks. Supporting local farms and farmers and seeing your neighbors do the same only instills a greater sense of community. And, the food tastes exponentially better! With our latest display we wanted to showcase our new summer kitchen accessories with some of our favorite farmer's market finds. With items like our olive wood cutting boards, French cheese knives, artichoke placemats and sea grass water pitchers, we're ready for a summertime feast! But first, a trip to the market! Bon appetit.

Desktop Inspiration: Nautical Necessities
The older we get the more we begin to truly value good organization practices. There's nothing wrong with a little bit of organized chaos, but when messes take over, things can really become stressful. One of the first places we always like to begin organizing is our desk. For us, a desk is like homebase. And when homebase is unorganized everything else suffers as well. Lately, we've been discovering lots of exciting new desktop accessories to help reorganize our space. Included our some of our favorite maritime themed goods, because for us, it's equally as important to keep our space as practical as can it be without losing the joy and wonder we like to carry though our everyday lives. And our latest collection of office supplies has been a great reminder of what we feel is important to keep within arm's reach. Inspiration is everything and if you don't surround yourself with the things you love in life, then you're missing out! Whether you're sitting down to write a novel while sailing the seven seas or in the comfort of your own home, our new collection of nautical themed desk accessories will keep you inspired and organized while you work. Stop by soon and see the rest of our new collection of desktop accessories!

Currently Inspired: Cozy Bedroom Nook
The past few weeks we've been having lots of fun rearranging displays. With Summer right around the corner, we've been steadily transitioning out of any winter displays that may remain. Though it's not beach season yet, we can't help but feel excited for the warmer months ahead, especially as we begin displaying some of our favorite summertime goods. It may not be Summer specific per se, but our new bedroom nook was easily one of the most fun corners to display. Given the space we had to work with, we tried to keep this nook as cozy as possible. To give the room more of a nostalgic atmosphere, we incorporated a few of our favorite vintage items. With an old record player, found photos and a vintage set of badminton rackets to play with, who wouldn't want to cozy up in this little corner? Stop by soon and check out the rest of our new displays! You never know what you might find at the Paris Market!

On the Table: A Friday Feast
It's Friday and we're getting ready for the weekend with a brand new tablescape! There's nothing we love more than finishing the week off with a delicious meal with our friends. The company of others and the memories made around the table is one of our most treasured joys in life. It's been a rainy week here in Savannah and all of April's showers have truly brought on lots of beautiful May flowers. Watching Spring come into full bloom is something that has always profoundly inspired us. And for today's feast, we wanted to bring some of that inspiration right to the table. Incorporating all of our favorite natural items, including our antlers, nests, moss, branches and petrified wood, we've set the table for a spring evening filled with nature, friends and new memories. Bon appetit!

Lily of the Valley: A Spring Offering
Today is May 1st, which for the majority of us means spring is in full swing and summer is on the horizon. In France however, May 1st also means Labor Day and the French like to celebrate with a tradition that dates all the way back to the 16th Century. To celebrate the new season the French offer small sprigs of muguet or Lily of the Valley to their loved ones as a "good luck charm". Unfortunately, we don't have any Lily of the Valley to give out on this particular day, however we thought we would celebrate this wonderful French tradition with some of our favorite floral gifts. With our Santa Maria Novella "Lily of the Valley" cologne, White Flower soaps and candles, and Violette perfume to add to your "offering", you can rest assured your loved ones will be especially happy on this May 1st celebration!
